Collection: Pawel

Pawel Kuczynski was born in 1976 in Szczecin. He is a world-renowned illustrator, cartoonist, and satirist, honored with a record number of awards in international competitions - over 170 so far.

He is a graduate of the Poznań Academy of Fine Arts and specializing in illustrations that ironically and sharply refer to social, economic, and political issues. His works evoke reflection and provoke considerations about contemporary world problems such as stereotypes, inequalities, prejudices, violence, propaganda, and the direction in which humanity is heading. Some of his works are amusing, while most of them are painful truths.

As an artist commenting on contemporary times, he focuses more on what is happening in the world than on local issues. Thanks to this, his drawings gain an additional advantage – they are understandable for a Pole, a German, or an American. And that’s already a rare art!
